Registration and intake
In order to not have a payment, a referral from your PCP is required. Without a referral, you are financially responsible for your treatment. You can register directly on our website, through email, or call us. We aim to schedule your first treatment within 2 to 4 weeks after the intake session. To get an accurate estimate of available appointments, please contact us. During the registration process, we will ask about your psychological concern, worries and doubts, and expectations for your treatment.

Advice and treatment plan
Following the intake, a treatment plan will be recommended to you. The treatment time period will be determined in your treatment plan. Depending on the nature and severity of your concern, the treatment types listed below may be recommended:

Form and duration of treatment​
Treatment sessions with your psychologist can be given online or face-to-face and are given either once a week, once every two weeks, or once a month. The duration of the treatment is dependent on what your complaints are and can be short or long if needed.

In case of an emergency
PsyPerspectief is available weekdays after 13.00. In case of an emergency outside of these hours, weekends, or holidays, contact your PCP or go to the emergency.

Evaluation
Your psychologist alongside our multidisciplinary team will evaluate your treatment. This evaluation will determine the progress of your treatment and results.

Patient satisfaction
​Patients are central to us. Satisfaction from your treatment is of high importance to us. With this goal, we ask our patients to fill out a standard clinic performance survey on a regular basis. The contents of this survey include, but are not limited to:

In addition, we request that you rate your treatment experience and any suggestions you may have.

Relapse
You may relapse after your treatment period. In this case, you may contact us. Together, we will determine the options available. After looking at how much time has passed since your last appointment, if necessary, we may start treatments again.
​
Not showing up to an appointment (No Show)​
If you are unable to make it to an appointment, you must cancel your appointment at least 24 hours in advance. If you do not show up to a scheduled appointment, you will be charged €50. Insurance will not cover this charge.
